Star Citizen: A Universe of Dreams and Glitches
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." -Lao Tzu (or maybe someone else?) It's amazing to see something from start, especially like the ambition in Star Citizen!
A Glimpse into a Vast Galaxy
Star Citizen promises an incredible space adventure, complete with an immersive simulation and lots of possibilities. You get to explore planets, fight space battles and build your own empires. I mean, it's pretty mind-blowing, even for someone like me just beginning this.
What's Star Citizen All About?
Source: ytimg.com
- Open-world space simulation.
- Tons of ships to pilot.
- Tons of planets to visit (I wanna visit each one!).
- Building and trading.
- Multiplayer gameplay with huge numbers of players, and with so much stuff to see…
Is it a bit like Minecraft in space? I kinda think so! Just that one is more fantasy based and the other… well the other… is just about anything (Minecraft).
Ships and Stations: The Details Matter
- A massive fleet of incredible ships—military ships and big ones to travel around with your team, huge trade freighters for earning cash(!!).
- Space stations as central hubs of trade and social interactions. (imagine a central space port hub! Cool!!)
- Each ship feels uniquely designed, right from their awesome sleek designs.
Comparing to Other Games: A Quick Look

Is it Expensive? How to Start (a real worry)
Purchasing the game can be a challenge. But you can try to just rent one, for small parts at first. Try different choices that don't really cost much.
The monthly payments is probably better and a subscription might be a good way, I think.
My First Few Hours of Flying: What did I Think? (Honest Feedback)
So, I hopped in a ship for the first time and took it for a spin… it was like being part of something grand… the controls were tough, especially in the beginning! The camera controls confused me and the game's instruction can be confusing… The game needed better directions. Maybe some pictures to aid the written instructions to clarify stuff!

The Community and Its Buzz: Why So Many People Love It
The massive community is quite special, right? (wow). Everyone helping each other. Building these spaceships, and the missions… this feels bigger than any other game I have ever seen. The spaceports, trading! I bet there are so many adventures with other players, and sharing our progress, the joys in such games!
The Constellations: Exploring Space in Every Aspect
- Different planets, with varying landscapes and environmental factors.
- Ships of various classes with specific roles in the vast cosmos.
- The exploration aspects, in different styles, makes this universe very lively (and not very bland).
This universe feels massive in scope, giving the players incredible options and many roles and jobs. You can trade resources in space (which is pretty cool, huh?). I imagine different players will find ways to create their stories through space travels! It's really cool when you imagine someone going far far away into space and just coming back in a year or more! This is unique to Star Citizen.

The Game's Development and Ongoing Stories (An Ongoing Process, Like A Book in Development)
Many people talk about updates with their excitement, so… what will the future bring to the universe, is always something cool to keep an eye on. There are always cool additions that may pop up! There is one big question for you: Are the games fun enough to keep everyone excited through so much development and ongoing work.
Comparing Star Citizen with Other Space Simulators

Feature | Star Citizen | Other Games | My Feelings |
---|---|---|---|
Scope | Very large universe | N/A | It's impressive |
Customization | Wide range of ship customization options | Vary by game | I really appreciate being able to design your ship! |
Immersion | High due to the scope | Sometimes, not always | I felt a sense of being in a space frontier |
Development Stage | Still in development | Finished | Its a game to learn more about the whole space. I really don't think other games can compete in terms of scope, it seems so limitless |
Final Thoughts on This Game
"Be the change that you wish to see in the world." -Mahatma Gandhi. I think, everyone involved is making an impact (in the gaming world!). There is so much excitement in getting a first experience. Getting into a spaceship is something fun and special that you won't forget. Hopefully, I get better in-game!
It takes so much imagination! Getting started in something big like this… that's a step in the right direction! You will not forget your first trip…
(P.S.) I still need to explore many more sectors of this space simulation… I look forward to it! What is a future user experience like?!
(Personal Notes): The potential of Star Citizen is truly mind-blowing. I just wish the instructions were clearer and there are some nice screenshots to understand some of these complex instructions. I think I need to start out at a low cost so that my personal cash reserves don't get emptied fast.
